The Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco has just recently submitted signatures to city election officials “hoping to place on the ballot an initiative that would rechristen the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant as the "George W. Bush Sewage Plant.”
Bush, Cheney and sewage. The sewage of history is hopefully where the Bush-Cheney presidency will be relegated to over time. Perhaps the negatives and abuses of the Bush Dark Times will be seen as having given rise to a more collegial world in which honesty and a harnessing of our collective intelligence for good are more widely embraced. Lets hope so.
