For years patient safety advocates have been trying to improve hand washing compliance rates in hospitals. Why? Simple: to prevent the spread of infections like MRSA which killed a close friend of mine, Dr. Russell Barber, who contracted MRSA after entering a Florida hospital for a fairly routine procedure.
My client, Arrowsight, is seeking to work closely with hospital managers and staff to improve hand washing compliance among those who manage and care for patients.
Laura Landro just posted about Arrowsight and their Hospital Video Auditing service in the
Wall Street Journal blog.
