The Government of Pakistan has agreed to restore Islamic law in the Swat Valley (northwest part) and neighboring regions in a negotiation with pro-Taliban fighters. Pakistan has also agreed to stop launching military operations from that region.

The interesting thing is how little this beheading murder has been covered by the media - nothing in the NY Times. What gives? If a woman had beheaded her husband it would be on the news non-stop for weeks.
